Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 2025 · Applies to studicent.com

This privacy policy explains how Studicent ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable German data protection law.

1. Controller / Data Responsible Party

Bradley Ojera, trading as Studicent
Glück-Auf-Str. 45, 41812 Erkelenz, Deutschland
Email: hello@studicent.com
Tel: +49 152 24947190

2. What Data We Collect

We collect the following personal data:

  • Audit tool submissions: Email address, first name (optional), and audit results (score, revenue figures you enter, section scores) — collected when you submit the free completion audit.
  • Booking data: Name, email, and any information you provide when booking a call via TidyCal.
  • Usage data: Browser type, IP address, pages visited — collected automatically via cookies (see Cookie Policy).

3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR Art. 6)

  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): Email capture via the audit tool — you actively submit your email.
  • Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)): Basic analytics and site security.
  • Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b)): Data needed to fulfil service agreements.

4. How We Use Your Data

  • To send you your audit results and follow-up course completion insights (if you submitted your email)
  • To schedule and manage consultation calls
  • To improve our services and website
  • We do not sell your personal data to third parties
  • We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party tools which may process your personal data:

  • Google Sheets / Google Apps Script — audit submission data is stored in Google Sheets (Google LLC, USA). Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
  • TidyCal — used for scheduling consultation calls. May process name, email, and calendar data.
  • SuiteDash — CRM and client portal platform. Used to manage client relationships and service delivery. May process contact information and communication data.
  • n8n / Make (Integromat) — workflow automation tools used to route and process form data between services.
  • FlowyTeam — team and performance management platform used internally.
  • Google Fonts — fonts loaded from Google's CDN. Google may log IP addresses.
  • Meta Ads (Facebook / Instagram) — we may run paid advertising campaigns using data from our leads list (email lists used for Custom Audiences). We do not use the Meta Pixel on this website. See Meta's Privacy Policy.

5a. Use of Your Data for Advertising

If you submit your email via the audit tool, your email address may be used to create a Custom Audience on Meta (Facebook/Instagram) for the purpose of showing you relevant Studicent advertisements. This is done by uploading hashed email addresses to Meta's platform — Meta cannot read your email address directly. You may opt out at any time by emailing hello@studicent.com with the subject "Opt out of ad targeting."

Your data may also be used to contact you by phone if you have indicated an interest in Studicent's services. We will not call you unsolicited unless you have expressed interest through the audit tool or a direct enquiry.

6. Data Retention

Audit submissions are retained for up to 24 months or until you request deletion. Data used for advertising Custom Audiences is removed from Meta's platform within 30 days of a deletion request. You can request full deletion at any time by emailing hello@studicent.com.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

Under GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of your personal data
  • Rectification — correct inaccurate data
  • Erasure ("right to be forgotten") — request deletion
  • Restriction — limit how we process your data
  • Portability — receive your data in a portable format
  • Object — object to processing based on legitimate interest
  • Withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting prior processing

To exercise any of these rights, email: hello@studicent.com

8. Right to Lodge a Complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your EU member state. In Germany: Bundesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit (BfDI).

9. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure.

Note: This policy should be reviewed by a German data protection lawyer before going live, particularly if you process data from EU residents at scale.
